Tigray Coffee Co. is an Abuja-based company focused on sourcing, processing, and marketing premium Nigerian Arabica coffee.
We work closely with local farmers through the National Coffee and Tea Association of Nigeria (NACOFTAN), sourcing ethically to ensure quality, traceability, and improved household incomes.
Our flagship, Kwararafa Coffee, comprises some of the finest Nigerian Arabica beans sourced from the Mambilla Plateau at elevations of up to 1,700 metres, delivering a rich and distinctive terroir while meeting global quality standards.
We aim to grow coffee culture across Africa while positioning Nigerian coffee for the global market—guided by our founder’s belief that “we must cooperate to find African solutions to African challenges.”
In 2023, we were finalists for the MTPAK Circular Economy Award, recognising our commitment to environmentally responsible production.
Named for the historic Tigray region, our identity reflects resilience, renewal, and a broader pan-African vision.
We are building a pathway for Nigerian coffee—from farm to global markets—expanding access, strengthening value chains, and establishing Nigeria as a credible frontier origin in the global specialty coffee economy.
