Here is a quick way to make Iced Latte, Americano and Cappuccino at Home

Have you been craving a coffee shop pick-me-up but stuck at home? No worries! Here’s how to whip up your favourite iced latte, americano, or cappuccino with just a few ingredients.

Coffee brewing methods for making better coffee

Iced Latte

Think creamy coffee on ice. Here’s what you’ll need:

Strong Coffee (30ml or 1/2 cup): Espresso is ideal, but strong brewed coffee works too (double your usual grounds). Brew it strong and let it cool completely.

Milk (1/2 cup): Whole milk for richness, skim for lighter, or your favourite non-dairy alternative.

Ice: Lots of ice! Fill your glass.

Sweetener (Optional): Sugar, syrup, whatever tickles your taste buds.

Instructions

1. Coffee: Got espresso? Pull a shot. Using strong brewed coffee? Perfect!

2. Ice It Up: Fill your glass with ice.

3. Coffee In; Pour the cooled coffee over the ice.

4. Milk: Top it off with your chosen milk.

5. Sweeten Up (Optional):Add your favourite sweetener to taste.

6. Sip and Smile: Stir it all together and enjoy your cool coffee creation!

Americano

This is basically strong coffee diluted with hot water. Here’s what you need:

Espresso (1 shot or 30ml): Pull a fresh shot if you have an espresso machine.

Hot Water: This is your strength control!

Instructions:

1.Espresso Shot: Pull that shot of espresso!

2. Water It Down: Add hot water to dilute the espresso to your preferred strength. Traditionally, it’s a 1:2 ratio (espresso to water).

3. Enjoy! Add a splash of milk or sweetener if you like it a little different.

Cappuccino

This one’s got a bit more froth! Here’s what you’ll need:

Espresso (1 shot or 30ml): Pull a shot of espresso, nice and fresh.

Steamed Milk (1/2 cup): Aim for smooth, microfoam texture (a handheld frother can help, but not required).

Milk Foam (Optional, 1/4 cup): This is the fluffy topping!

Instructions:

1. Espresso Time: Pull your shot of espresso.

2. Steam It Up: Steam your milk to create that smooth microfoam.

3. Coffee Base:Pour the espresso into your cup.

4. Milk Magic: Gently pour the steamed milk over the espresso.

5. Foam Fun (Optional):Spoon a layer of the milk foam on top for that classic cappuccino look.

6. Coffee Shop Vibes at Home:Enjoy your delicious cappuccino creation!
